- 02
Complete the supported fields shown below.
- 03
Save a filled PDF with its fields still editable.
Work with existing interactive fields
Fill supported text boxes, checkboxes and choices in a standard AcroForm. The downloaded fields remain editable and read-only values are preserved. A scanned page or flat form may look fillable but contain no interactive fields. The form-filling guide explains unsupported forms, character limits and checking the saved values.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fill a scanned form?
This tool fills existing standard AcroForm fields. It does not recognise blank areas on a scan, create fields, support XFA forms or sign certificate fields.
Will the fields stay editable?
Yes. Filled fields remain interactive. Read-only fields are not changed. Standard Latin text is supported; some scripts need fonts this tool does not yet provide.
Is this PDF tool free?
Yes. All 15 tools are free to use without an account. Large or complex PDFs may exceed your browser’s available memory; try a smaller file or a computer if that happens.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
Use Unlock PDF with a valid password first, if you are authorised to remove protection. These editing tools require an unencrypted PDF.
