Keep a section or separate every page
For one document containing pages 2 to 5, enter 2-5 and choose One PDF with selected pages. To turn every page into its own PDF, leave Pages empty and choose Separate PDF for each page (ZIP). Unpack the downloaded ZIP to access the files.
Select by position in the PDF
Page numbers start at the first page of the file, which may differ from printed numbering after a cover or contents page. Use Extract PDF Pages if thumbnails would help you choose, or read the page selection guide for range and ordering examples.
Frequently asked questions
How do I select a range of pages?
Use numbers separated by commas and hyphens. For example, 1, 3-5 selects pages 1, 3, 4 and 5.
Can I save every page separately?
Yes. Leave the page selection empty and choose “Separate PDF for each page”. You will get a ZIP containing one PDF per page.
Is this PDF tool free?
Yes. All 15 tools are free to use without an account. Large or complex PDFs may exceed your browser’s available memory; try a smaller file or a computer if that happens.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
Use Unlock PDF with a valid password first, if you are authorised to remove protection. These editing tools require an unencrypted PDF.
